Off I go!

What an amazing adventure! You can view the route I did by clicking on the map above. I have returned now and will be adding photos and comments of my travels as I go, quite alot to add!

I have been travelling for over a month now. Seen so many amazing things and experiencing a great variety of cultures... I have been moving from place to place, soon realising how I do not want to spend all my time online updating/uploading, when there are great things to see and do around me. Otherwise what is the point of going travelling? So watch this space... I have added my journey on the map so see the distance I am racking up!

I am having a wonderful time, seeing so many amazing things and enjoyed the train journey. Currently in UB, Mongolia, this has been the highlight so far. Heading to a Ger Camp today/tonight, cant wait!

My rough plans so far....

UK > Moscow > Beijing

I will be leaving the UK on the 3rd July and flying to Moscow. It will be amazing and strange to land in Russia, from here I will be travelling overland until I get to Vietnam!

From Moscow I will be travelling on the train through Russia, Mongolia and into China heading into Beijing, travelling in a group with 8 or so others.... I will be on and off the train for about two weeks.

Beijing > Hanoi

I will have a bit of time in Beijing before I head southwards by train bus and boat to Hanoi (capital of Vietnam).

Hanoi > Bangkok

My plan is to spend abit of time in Hanoi, possibly go up north to Sapa before flying to Bangkok.

Bangkok > around South East Asia....

I will be meeting a my friend Katie (yay!) who I will travel with around S E Asia, hopefully visiting Laos, Vietnam again, Cambodia and some islands....

And coming back mid September...
